About
Us
A diagnosis of osteopenia and osteoporosis can be overwhelming. Many people often don’t know where to begin – struggling to find trustworthy advice, practical support, or programs they can actually stick with. Women and men are afraid to do the wrong things with fear of increased fracture risk.
Building Bones is a digital health platform empowering you to take control of your bone health with expert-designed, personalised exercise programs and lifestyle advice.
We want you to live your life with confidence and stay healthier and stronger for longer.
What does Building Bones do?
Building Bones gives you the tools, knowledge and structure to take charge of your bone health — wherever you are, at your own pace. Our platform combines expert-designed programs with real-life support to help you feel stronger, safer, and more confident in your body.
You’ll gain access to a personalised, evidence-based exercise program tailored to your unique needs. Each movement is grounded in clinical research and designed to be safe and effective. With clear instructions, video demonstrations and feedback on technique, you can train with confidence knowing you're doing the right things for your bones.
To support your progress, you’ll also find daily reminders, custom tracking tools, and a deep library of educational content — covering not just osteoporosis and osteopenia, but also nutrition, lifestyle, and long-term self-care. Plus, if you choose, you can connect with a community of others on the same journey.
About our
Founder
Jenni is a senior physiotherapist with over 10 years clinical experience. Around 6 years ago her mum was diagnosed with osteoporosis, so she began working with her mum to improve her bone density and reduce her fracture risk. Since then she has set up bone health services in private practices in Ireland and the UK. screening at-risk individuals and working with people to reduce their falls and fracture risk and improve their bone health through personalised exercise and lifestyle programs.
Jenni became frustrated with the fragmented care and difficulty in accessing specialised services individuals faced when trying to manage their bone health. She is passionate about ensuring people receive the best care available and she is now on a mission to reach more people through a digital solution. By developing Building Bones Jenni hopes to make osteopenia and osteoporosis care reliable, easy, accessible and engaging for everyone.
Jenni was awarded the Women Leader in Healthcare scholarship for her MSc in Digital Health and Entrepreneurship from University College London. Her research project during her MSc focused on evaluating mobile technologies ability to improve bone density in individuals with osteoporosis and osteopenia and to make recommendations for future applications. Jenni has been accepted onto the 2025/2026 NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Patient Program with Building Bones.
