How does the Building Bones Application work?

You can download the application now from the mobile app store.

It is available in iOS and Android in Ireland and the UK.

First we find out about your bone health and exercise ability

Once you register on the app, you will begin your assessment. This will ask questions about your bone health and will require you to complete some at home strength and balance exercise assessments if you are able.
This is to help determine the most suitable program for you.

Next, learn about bone health and exercise

While you are waiting for your personalised program you can explore our education section and introduction exercise program.

Once a program has been assigned, a chartered physiotherapist will review the program before it is sent to you on the app.

This is an extra step to make sure the program selected for you is the most appropriate fit based on the answers you gave on your assessment.

Begin your personalised program

Once the program has been assigned to you and you have subscribed, you will have access to your 12 week tailored exercise program and all the features of the application.

You will be able to carry out your strength program, progress through different levels of balance and impact exercises, track your activity and progress, and retest your strength and balance assessments.

Ongoing support

You can choose to add friends and join different communities where you can share your activities, and like and comment on other people’s activities to support them.

You can reach out to our team through the application for support at any time. We are here to support you.

At Building Bones we want to help you to stay as active as possible, and continue to do the things you love without fear.
